About CFAA

Crescendo Fine Arts Academy is Longmont, Colorado’s premier non-profit music and arts school. We offer lessons and classes for a wide variety of instruments and media for students of all ages. CFAA began in 2018 as the result of merging The Crescendo Project with several local music studios. CFAA exists to provide music and arts education for all students, especially those who might otherwise lack access.

Our Mission

The Crescendo Project exists to provide music and art classes of the highest caliber to all students, especially those who lack access to private lessons outside the classroom. Our expert instructors provide instruction in an environment that is fun and welcoming to students of a variety of ages and backgrounds.

Our Family of Services

Crescendo Fine Arts Academy began in 2018. Our roots go back two years earlier, with local community music and arts classes known as The Crescendo Project. Crescendo is a branch of Hopelight Education Services, a non-profit organization based in Longmont, Colorado. The Hopelight family of services began in 2013 with Hopelight Medical Clinic, serving uninsured patients with primary medical care (www.hopelightclinic.org). Our community health programs include Hopelight Behavioral health (www.hopelightbh.org), Hopelight Fitness (www.hopelightfitness.org), Longmont CPR, and  Hopelight Recovery support groups. Hopelight Education Services also offers English as a Second Language classes and the Longmont Tutoring Center (www.longmonttc.org). All Hopelight services and programs are located on the campus of Longmont church of Christ (www.longmontcoc.org). Crescendo Fine Arts Academy is an exciting opportunity for kids in our community to learn, grow, and be creative in music and art.

Advancing students who demonstrate a commitment to the program can enter into a mentorship agreement to receive individual lessons at no charge, in exchange for assisting with supervised beginning-level classes.
